December is the perfect moment to pause for a while, to look back on a year filled with remarkable projects, valuable collaborations, and moments in which we can all take pride. At the same time, we naturally look ahead, wondering what the first quarter of 2026 will bring and which new opportunities are waiting for us.
A Year of Milestones
One of this year’s highlights was the completion of the renewed depot of the Frans Hals Museum. Over the past year they have worked intensively on the renovation of their depot at Kortmann APS, and they will soon begin using their new space.
We also made significant progress within Kortmann APS itself. Several new storage rooms were constructed and brought into use this year, each built according to our high standards for safety, sustainability and climate control, giving us even more possibilities to offer clients the best storage solutions.
Collaborations with Galleries, Fairs and Museums
This year we once again worked closely with various galleries, both nationally and internationally. We were present at major art fairs such as TEFAF and Art Basel, contributing to stand construction and supporting exhibitors with our experienced art handlers.
We also assisted multiple travelling exhibitions, ensuring secure transport, professional installation and expert handling of artworks across borders.
Within the Netherlands we had the opportunity to work on several special projects, including exhibitions for Kunsthal Rotterdam, the H’ART Museum and Museum MORE. We are proud of the trust placed in us and of everything we achieved together this year.
Changes Within the Team
As in any growing company, we experienced some changes. We said goodbye to a few colleagues, but we were also pleased to welcome new talent. Most recently, Flor joined our Gallery team, further strengthening and expanding our department.
Looking Ahead to 2026
The coming year promises exciting developments. In the first quarter we will celebrate two major milestones, the official opening of our new building and our 25th anniversary, two achievements we are very much looking forward to.
We reflect on a meaningful year and cannot wait to see what 2026 will bring. Our appreciation goes out to our clients, partners and our team, without them, none of this would be possible.
